When used in combination with the Miele IntenseClean machine cleaner, the Clean machine programme removes more than 99.99% of bacteria, yeast and fungus as well as more than 99.9% of viruses from the appliance. So your appliance stays hygienically clean and microorganisms and odours are removed. The test method meets the highest hygiene standards in the laundry care sector.*
Tested by Albstadt-Sigmaringen University and awarded the gold label by the Institute for Integrative Hygiene and Virology (InFluenc_H). Applies to all models with TwinDos® and PowerWash in the Maintenance wash programme using the Miele IntenseClean machine cleaner. Tested bacteria include E. coli and enveloped viruses (e.g. coronavirus) and non-enveloped viruses (e.g. noroviruses and adenoviruses).
