Contents of pan boil over with M Sense

The contents of the M Sense pot are boiling over.

The cookware was filled with too little or too much water.

Fill the cookware with water according to the MIN/MAX markings on the inside of the pot. Make sure that the water does not exceed the mark once the food has been added.

Placing a lid incorrectly on an item of cookware disrupted a sensor.

Place the cookware lid flush on the top of the item of cookware.

Another programme is more suitable for preparing the food.

Change the programme. Examples for selecting a programme can be found in the programme table, see “Programmes – Food and cookware programmes”. Make sure that there is no food other than water or oil in the cookware during a heating-up phase.

Try out other programmes until you are satisfied with the result.

Food was added before the end of the heating-up phase of the Booster programme.

Wait until the end of the heating-up phase of the Booster programme before adding food to the pot

or

If you have accidentally added food to the pot before the end of the heating-up phase of the Booster programme, touch Cooking/Booster once.

The heating-up phase of the Booster programme is deactivated.

The setting for the altitude on the hob does not match the installation site.

Find out the altitude of the installation site.

Adjust the altitude of the installation site on the hob (see the “Adjusting settings” section of the operating and installation instructions for your hob).
