Fault F14

The dishwasher display shows fault F14.

The circulation pump is blocked. In longer breaks between wash/rinse cycles (lasting weeks or months at a time), the pump may become dry and stick together.

Remove the lower spray arm.

Risk of scalding.

Contact with hot water can cause scalding.

Take care with heated water. Do not use excessively hot water (maximum 75 °C).

Pour 1 litre of warm water (maximum 75 °C) with 3 to 5 drops of rinse aid into the dishwasher interior.

Leave the solution to work for 5 minutes.

Refit the filter combination. Ensure that the filter combination is positioned correctly.

Refit the lower spray arm.

Switch the dishwasher back on.

If the fault persists, please contact Miele Customer Service or book a repair appointment online.

Water collects in items of crockery (e.g. bowls) when they tip over.

Make sure that all items of crockery are securely positioned.

Hollow items such as cups, glasses and pots should be placed upside down in the baskets.

Items of crockery with a concave base should be placed at an angle so that the water can run off.

The on-site drainage connection is situated lower than the guide path for the lower basket rollers in the door.
For example, in the case of a dishwasher installed at a height, the on-site drainage connection may be situated lower than the guide path for the lower basket rollers in the door.

If the on-site drainage connection is situated lower than the guide path for the lower basket rollers in the door, the drainage system must be vented. Otherwise, a siphoning effect can cause the wash cabinet to empty itself of water during a programme.

Open the dishwasher door fully.
